Lovely relaxing stay in a great location

Very spacious room with desk and easy chairs, and a very comfortable bed. A central location and the view over the river was lovely. We were able to park right outside for our whole stay, but there is plenty of street parking nearby and also a hotel car park for an additional fee. Buffet breakfast and evening meal were both excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has a traditional feel and is a very relaxing place to stay.

The shower over the bath was awkward for older people to get into and the shower screen didn't prevent water from getting on the floor - a simple stand-alone shower instead of a bath would be a big improvement.

Hotel is a bit quirky, but ok all the same.

Underground secure car parking. In the centre of the small town, right on the banks of the river.

Restaurant choice limited and very expensive for where it is located. Staff were mainly cold and stern in their interactions

Old fashioned charm

De la Poste offers everything I like from a classic hotel. The type you may have seen in the past. Traditional quality with carpet on the stairs, squeaky wooden floor, a location spot on in the middle of the town, views over the Semois and on the castle. Bouillon is a touristic village with plenty of restaurants, something good in the Ardennes

I was not in the possibility to test the in-house restaurant. The menu looks brilliant!

Really helpful staff, hotel has secure parking for motorcycles, brilliant location, excellent breakfast, would happily stay again. Historic building, nice architecture

Ok hotel in a wonderful location

The hotel is in the town Bouillon which is a lovely small town in a fantastic part of the country, with lots to do and see, good selection of restaurants and shops, Hotel is right in the centre of the town , it’s a very old building lots of creaky floors and stuff, staff where friendly and welcoming, room was very small and basic , rooms look like there getting old and things are getting worn, if you pay for a river view the rooms are bigger and slightly better, mine was on the back very small basic looks out on to another building, bathroom was small and basic, rooms where clean ish, breakfast was lots of choices of foods and very tasty and nice views over looking the river, under ground parking with lift to reception, i use this hotel as a pass through stop every year for one or two nights

Watch out for all the extras, breakfast, car-parking are not included in price, think you pay for the location , personal I think it’s a bit much for what you get,

Lovely traditional hotel near the river

Lovely traditional and interesting hotel with friendly and professional staff. Excellent location in the town centre next to the river. Secure parking for our motorcycles in the hotel garage. Clean room with comfy beds. Excellent shower.

Lovely Authentic Hotel in the middle of Bouillon

Authentic and nostalgic Hotel with excellent breakfast, nice clean rooms and very helpful staff. Right in the middle of Bouillon and with a parking (for an additional cost). I will forgive the creaking wooden floor in the room as it adds to the history of the Hotel.

If the hotel is crowded and if most of the parkingplaces are taken, it takes a bit of maneuvering to get parked.

Ladies at check in super friendly Hotel is very dog friendly which is a great plus Good location Good restaurant and great atmosphere Wifi of good speed comfortable rooms

Showergel bottle was empty sigarette buds in open drain ending up in river, a proper ashtray is recommended at the doors

Very Good

The hotel is charming by its history and the location is simply unbeatable, within walking distance to almost all the must-sees in Bouillon. Parking on site is also very convenient.

The sound proofing could be improved, albeit this might be difficult if the building is heritage-listed. The heater in our room wasn't working. That was a bit borderline in November with a 6 years-old.

Very Nice breakfast. Very nice location. Very beautiful reception, bars and restaurants

Rain was very noisy against metalic pieces outside or something else. It was not possible to book a table at the restaurant. We would have appreciated it being propose after our reservation

Not the worst but definitely not the best.

Convenient location at a relatively central location.

Very few and inconvenient electrical sockets in the room (e.g. not at the bedside). It was raining during the nights we were there and was incredibly noisy when the raindrops hit the window pane. Soundproofing is also poor as we could hear everything at the corridor.

Interesting hotel with historic atmosphere.

Very nice historic and atmospheric hotel in the beautiful and interesting town of Bouillon in the Ardennes. The French Emperor Napoleon III stayed in the suite of the hotel in 1870 on the last night where he was still officially emperor. Beautiful restaurant with gourmet dinners.

While the staff were generally ok, some of the staff could be a bit more smiling and friendly.
